Temporary Life Endorsements Customer Service Representative

What You'll Do: As a Temporary Life Endorsements Customer Service Representative, you'll assist with processing beneficiary and name changes for life and annuity policies. You will make certain that the Farm Bureau policy provisions are followed when changes are requested by policy owners and that changes are legal, clear, and logical. You will also locate addresses for returned mail and deliver print (new business contracts, status, letters) to various departments for handling. You may assist other departments as needed, so it's important to be adaptable and flexible as you will have other duties as assigned.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • High school degree or equivalent. Insurance or financial service experience preferred.
  • Strong self-motivation and a hard worker, including a positive 'can-do, will-do' attitude.
  • Must have high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills are required, including solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills are required to quickly learn our multiple systems.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to work our business hours of 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday from our office in West Des Moines, IA for approximately the next 3 months.
